growing up in Hong Kong, Janice began her artistic and athletic journey in ballet at the age of four, training intensively for fourteen years.
Assessed annually by the UK Royal Academy of Dance, she earned a remarkable 98/100 and was recognized as a prodigy. She has always dreamed of becoming a professional dancer.
Her path next led her to San Francisco, where she pursued an art degree and immersed herself in rigorous study that cultivated her creative expression. she later built a design career in Silicon Valley, creating innovative tech products. Yet she remained an artist at heart.
after moving to New York, janice discovered tango—a dance that, for the first time, made her feel completely free, at peace, and playful in her body. Born to dance, Janice left her tech career to pour her heart fully into tango—creating art that feeds her soul.
